Early 1920s painted pottery vase sculpted with Ram Heads. it's in the style of Karl Hansen Reistrup and often assumed being made by Michael Andersen and Son. But it was actually made by Knabstrup who were basically neighbors to Kähler in Næstved, Denmark.
The wear you see in the photos is actually spots were the shallow paint has worn of. It actually pretty intact with no cracks or significant nicks. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
