A particularly beautiful example of an old swedish box is offered here.
Wood and metal/metal fittings with an old lock.
The box was strapped to the carriages and is today a very popular piece of decoration from old times.
The clou is the signature on the metal and inside there is also a signature as an identification.
The piece dates from the second half of the 18th century. The piece is stamped with the initials of the owner is old.
