For your consideration, a hand-foot occasional table designed by the famous Mexican surrealist artist Pedro Friedeberg.
Designed originally around the 1960s and 1970s, this iconic stool or small side table turns human anatomy into functional art. The flat palm of a large carved hand serves as the tabletop or seat, while three legs ending in detailed human feet keep it stable.
Meticulously hand-carved out of high-quality Mexican mahogany wood.
Pedro Friedeberg is celebrated as one of Mexico's premier modernists. He is incredibly famous for his absurd, irreverent, and playful Dadaist-inspired furniture designs.
Signed underneath with the artist name.
