The aluminum lamp diffuses light upwards … Read more An elegant 1970's AJ Royal metal lamp designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen. The aluminum lamp diffuses light upwards and downwards, making it suitable for a dining area, entryway, or other expansive room. Jacobsen designed the lamp for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in the 1960s. The lamp was manufactured by Louis Poulsen and has become a globally celebrated design icon ship worldwide, except to Austria and Denmark. No maker's mark was found. Dimensions: 8" H X 18" D X 18" W. The lamp has wear consistent with its age and use. The cord is wired to be used as a ceiling pendant. The lamp cord was cut and has not been tested. See less
