All hand crafted, without the use of a pottery wheel, an earthenware clay effigy vessel featuring a stylized anthropomorphic figure (often interpreted as a shaman) with black-on-white bichrome decoration.
As customary for the type, it features a rounded egg-shaped body with applied details such as arms, hands, and facial values. It actually represents a hunter, wearing tunic and a large disc on a headband, holding his trophy across his shoulders (a feline looking creature, likely jaguar whose head leans on the left side)

It weighs 1 lb. 12 oz.

Condition: Very Good overall. Minor flakes to the rim and the jaguar's ears, commensurate with normal use. Please see photos. All original. See less
