Please note this is a sought after, collectible piece from Herend and has been "retired" from the pattern. Crafted in Hungary, this beautifully shaped piece features a softly flared square rim with delicate scalloped edges accented in hand-applied 24k gold. The exterior is decorated with colorful hand-painted songbirds perched among foliage, a hallmark of Herend's celebrated Rothschild Bird design, first introduced in the 19th century.
