An elegant and highly decorative matching French Limoges porcelain baluster vase and cabinet charger, beautifully hand-painted with lush rose bouquets accented by delicate blue forget-me-nots and framed within richly gilded architectural panels.
Both pieces feature finely executed hand-applied gold decoration with laurel leaf borders and Gothic-inspired lattice cartouches, creating a sophisticated Louis XVI Revival aesthetic that blends effortlessly with French Country, Traditional, Hollywood Regency, and Grandmillennial interiors.
The underside of each piece bears the classic green "Limoges France" mark, confirming manufacture in Limoges, France. Additional decorator's marks are present but largely worn, a common occurrence on mid-century Limoges decorative porcelain.
The matching decoration, proportions, and craftsmanship strongly suggest these pieces were originally produced and sold as a coordinated decorative ensemble rather than assembled separately.
The vase displays beautifully on a mantel, console, or entry table, while the charger is equally striking displayed on a stand or hung as wall décor.
This set was sourced from a charity auction in Connecticut, and has remained together, adding to its appeal as a complete decorative pairing.
