Decorative bronze amphora with a slender body, narrow neck, circular base, and two elegant serpent-shaped handles, a feature recalling the ornamental repertoire of the classical tradition. The surface displays a uniform dark patina enriched with relief decorations depicting classical-style figures and geometric motifs inspired by the art of ancient Greece, executed with remarkable attention to detail. Designed by Virgilio Bono in 1963, it offers a modern interpretation of the forms of ancient Hellenic pottery, combining archaeological inspiration with the design sensibility of post-war Italian design.
