A pair of Italian Louis XVI–style twin beds with matching nightstand, crafted in richly figured flame birch veneers with ebonized line inlay, gilt-metal neoclassical mounts, turned corner posts with brass collars, and elegant tapered legs. Inspired by the refined lines of French Louis XVI and Directoire furniture, this mid-century Italian bedroom suite showcases beautifully figured flame birch veneers, crisp ebonized line inlay, and restrained gilt-metal neoclassical mounts. Something I wanted to share is that complete bedroom suites of this quality have become increasingly difficult to find, particularly those that have remained together with their original companion pieces. To me, that's part of their appeal. Beyond the refined craftsmanship and beautifully figured veneers, they represent a level of furniture making that deserves to be preserved and enjoyed for generations to come.
