These gorgeous heavy and over-sized table … Read more Offering a pair of large RESTORED vintage artichoke table lamps, circa Late 20th Century. These gorgeous heavy and over-sized table lamps are made of painted composite resin to appear like cast concrete entryway finials. The sculpted bodies mimic overlapping scales or bracts, which is why they read as artichoke or pinecone forms. In addition to the hand painted faux finish, the artist details the tips of the leaves and the plinth with metallic gold paint. Large original gold finish metal tulip finials included.

These are quite heavy and substantial lamps and are perfect for a grand room or large living room. Please see dimensions and weight below.

This motif symbolizes hospitality, abundance, and protection in various European traditions, especially Italian and French decorative arts.

EXCELLENT VINTAGE RESTORED CONDITION. New brass sockets, New brass harps and New clear electrical cords have been added for safety. Designer/Decorator ready.
