Ben Seibel (1918–1985) was an American industrial designer who studied at Columbia and Pratt and is best known for his tableware designs for Raymor and Jenfredware. His furniture output was comparatively limited, which makes pieces like this high-back lounge chair genuinely scarce. The dramatically tall back, gently flared arms, and delicately turned walnut legs with characteristic bulbous feet are all hallmarks of the form, and the bones here are excellent.
Measures 35 inches wide by 32.5 inches deep by 38 inches tall, with a seat height of 16.25 inches and arm height of 19.75 inches. The chair requires full reupholstery and foam replacement, it is structurally in very good condition however. Please see all available photographs and consider them as part of the item description.
