Rare & Original Framed Lithograph of Jesus with Children for your consideration. The framed print measures approx. 16 1/4 inches X 19 1/4 inches and approx. 3/4 of an inch thick. Print measures approx. 11 1/4 inches X 14 1/4 inches. American, Chicago, early 20th Century. Peoples Portrait & Frame Company. Black and white lithograph depicting Jesus holding a white child on his lap, while placing his hand on a black child who is kneeling in prayer. Heart symbol in upper left corner reads, "JESUS DIED FOR BOTH". Lithograph is under glass and encased in period oak leaf and acorn brown painted wooden frame. Old wood panel backing. Wire on back for hanging on wall. Good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age. Lithograph shows obvious signs of wear including soiling, folds, tears, and missing small portion in upper right corner. The print has been cut down from the original size which would have included a recumbent lamb at the foot of Jesus. Frame shows minor losses throughout. See photos. Displays precious, Scarce!
