A rare pair of aeo armchairs designed by paolo deganello for cassina in 1973.
designed within the italian radical movement stemming from the archizoom group, the aeo armchair breaks with traditional furniture design by offering a sculptural seat composed of independent volumes assembled around an exposed tubular structure. Its bold design has made it one of the iconic creations of 1970s italian design.
this pair has undergone a complete restoration. The cushions have been entirely reupholstered in high-quality cognac leather, while some sections are covered in a cotton and linen fabric from the french manufacturer casamance, offering an elegant contrast between materials and excellent comfort.
the original metal frame has a beautiful patina, in keeping with the spirit of the design.
both experimental and exceptionally comfortable, these armchairs perfectly embody the avant-garde of italian design. This piece has an attribution mark,
