This piece stands out for its intricate openwork weaving, entirely handcrafted, skillfully simulating the texture of a natural basket. The interior base is beautifully enhanced by the famous "Apponyi Green" (AV) or Chinese Bouquet decoration, featuring its iconic stylised flower hand-painted in emerald green and rich 24K gold finishes. This is an authentic vintage piece from the 1970s–1980s, particularly sought after for the exceptional quality of the period porcelain. The underside bears the original blue Herend stamp as well as the factory's serial numbers. The piece comes with its original vintage green velvet-like presentation box with a satin-lined interior, showing some normal signs of age.
