About the Poster: This is an original movie poster from 1965 for In Harm's Way starring John Wayne, Kirk Douglas, Patricia Neal, Tom Tryon, Paula Prentiss, Brandon de Wilde, Jill Haworth, Dana Andrews, Henry Fonda, Burgess Meredith, and Slim Pickens. Otto Preminger directed the World War II drama. The rare, modernist silkscreen design is by iconic graphic designer Saul Bass.
"In Harm's Way" is a sprawling World War II epic. The film follows U.S. Navy officers Rock Torrey and Paul Eddington from the attack on Pearl Harbor through the American counter-offensive, weaving together dramatic naval battles and complex romantic and family entanglements.
