Tumulus bronze vase, 1940s. Denmark. Classic Art Deco vase in patinated bronze with a flaring conical shape and gently curved rim. The warm brown surface has a natural age patina typical of the period.
Origin: Denmark. Material: Bronze. Dimensions: H. 13 cm, D. 10 cm. Period: 1940s. Condition: Good condition with age-related patina. Bronze vases from the 1930s and 1940s were often executed in a neoclassical Art Deco idiom, inspired by ancient tumulus and goblet forms. The warm patina and balanced proportions lent these pieces a refined, sculptural quality suited to both functionalist and decorative interiors of the era.
