Erik Rahr for Saxbo Lidded jar, mid-20th century. Organically shaped stoneware lidded jar with a matte brown glaze in warm earthy tones. The lid features two small handles, characteristic of Saxbo’s functional yet sculptural design language. A fine and balanced example of Rahr’s work for Saxbo.
Origin: Denmark. Designer: Erik Rahr. Material: Stoneware. Dimensions: H. 16 cm, D. 13 cm. Period: Mid 20th century. Condition: Small insignificant chip on the inner rim of the lid, otherwise excellent condition.
