Designed by j&j kohn/ thonet around 1900. This set has brand marks underneath its seat (ligna, which was a former – after world war ii – nationalised thonet factory). Black stained, bentwooden frame with a seat of woven cane/wicker (webbing). This model became well known as french designer le corbusier marked it as one of his favorites and used it in his interior projects.

the set is in a good vintage condition with just normal signs of usage. One chair has new screws at the sides of its seat. See all images.
