A pair of mouth-blown vases in opalised glass from the “Reffla” series, designed by Arthur Percy for Gullaskruf. The series is defined by its ribbed surface and softly undulating rim, accentuating the elegant translucency and light play of the glass. Origin: Sweden. Designer: Arthur Percy. Manufacturer: Gullaskruf Glasbruk. Material: Opalised glass. Dimensions: H. 15 cm, D. 11 cm. Period: 1970s. Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. Arthur Percy (1886–1976) was one of Sweden’s leading 20th-century designers, celebrated for his refined sense of form and colour. At Gullaskruf Glassworks in Småland, he created several iconic series, including “Reffla,” admired today for its sculptural silhouette and subtle interplay of light within the glass. See less
