Design Plus Gallery presents a Settee/Day Bed of Moroccan Design. The wooden bed/settee has a frame with mousharabi lattice throughout the back seat rest and curved side arms. The lattice is a traditional, intricately carved wooden decoration commonly used in Middle Eastern and North African architecture. It is assembled from hundreds of small, lathe-turned bobbins fitted together without nails or glue, creating delicate geometric patterns. The remainder of the wooden frame has slats for the bench seat cushion and four straight legs. There is a single emerald green seat cushion and three back rest cushions. Overall the settee is in good condition for its usage.
