In the spirit of the traditional Chinese garden design, this miniature stacking lantern brings the permanence of stone to a garden or patio space. The small lantern assembles from five separate pieces, each carved from solid limestone and associated with an element of Buddhist cosmology. The pedestal base represents the earth, the column represents water, the lamp housing represents fire, the roof represents the wind and the finial represents heaven. Twinkling with candlelight, the small lantern brings serenity to its surroundings as a table lamp or sculptural centerpiece.
Accommodates candles between 1.5" and 2.75" in diameter.
