Rare boxed set of six vintage Kurt S. Adler Christmas bell ornaments, manufactured in Italy for Kurt S. Adler Inc., New York. Each ornament features a colorful mid-century matte finish with hand-applied gold glitter scrollwork and bright painted confetti dots. The set includes pink, red, orange, yellow, and green bell ornaments.
The original blue presentation box is marked “Manufactured for Kurt S. Adler Inc., New York, N.Y. 10010 — Made in Italy” and “Unbreakable / Hand Decorated.” Based on the ZIP code and design, this set dates to approximately the mid-to-late 1960s or early 1970s. The box shows age-related wear, edge splits, creasing, and surface wear, while the ornaments display beautifully with light vintage wear consistent with age. A scarce surviving boxed set for collectors of mid-century Christmas, Italian holiday décor, and vintage Kurt Adler ornaments.
