A striking pair of sculptural mid-century modern lounge chairs featuring dramatic winged forms and low, architectural profiles. Each chair has a generously proportioned seat with an integrated curved back and sweeping upholstered arms that flare upward at the edges, creating an exceptionally distinctive silhouette.
The chairs are upholstered in contrasting shades of deep forest and muted green, emphasizing their unusual construction and organic form. Tapered black legs give the substantial upholstered bodies a light, floating appearance.
While we have been unable to definitively identify the designer or manufacturer, the chairs exhibit a strong European modernist influence with elements of Italian Space Age and postwar modern design.
An exceptional statement pair with incredible presence from every angle. Ideal for a living room, gallery, library, or sophisticated commercial interior.
