They date to 1983. They feature floor length evening gowns They originally appeared in the French Harpur's Bazaar France edition which was published from 1983-1991 and was later relauched as well. The designs are illustration prints by the American fashion illustrator Joe Eula who was a prominent force in the later MC years. Eula was creative director for Halston, an illustrator for the NYT and Vogue magazine, and designed posters for icons of the music industry...Supremes, Liza, Miles Davis, etc. He is well known for his bursts of color and strong graphic line quality. These prints are illustrative of the combined geniuses of Givenchy designs and Eula's artistry. They are crisp and vivid. They are dramatic and glamorours. They will enliven your home and your mood! 9.25 x 12.25 inches; come affixed to acid free paper, reay for matting/framing. See less
