The vase depicts a French countryside landscape with a classic chateau surrounded by trees under a beautiful blue sky. The body is copper overlaid with hand painted enamel. The textured shimmering effect in the sky and background is achieved through a French enameling technique called paillonne.
Heavy impasto-like raised enamel application gives it a 3D effect.
This type of fine enamel work was done in the Limoges region of France in the 1900s.
There is an indecipherable signature and is marked France next to the signature. I have taken picture of it at end of photo display.
