Each candlestick supports two candle cups extending from organically shaped arms and rests on an ornate pedestal base accented with gilt bronze scrolling feet. Richly modeled with exceptional decorative detail, these candlesticks blend Louis XVI Revival and Victorian influences, making them ideal for traditional, French Country, Grandmillennial, or eclectic interiors. Their sculptural quality allows them to serve as striking decorative objects even when not in use. Likely crafted in Continental Europe around 1890–1915, the pair exhibits a beautiful aged patina with contrasting silver and gilt finishes that enhance their antique character. See less
