Portrait is an original contemporary artwork realized by eugène berman (petersbourg, 1932 - rome, 1972) in the 1970s. Original pencil drawing on paper. Monogram of artist on the lower center in pencil. Included a passepartout: 50 x 40 cm good conditions, except for the small missing piece of paper at the top right margin. Depicting the portrait of artist's wife, through strong strokes, full of emotion with a deep look. Eugène berman (petersbourg, 1932 - rome, 1972). He worked especially for the theater (brecht's threepenny opera, paris 1937; russian ballets of monte carlo, etc.). Pupil in st. Petersburg of p. Naumov, he perfected his artistic training at the acadèmie ranson in paris, where he was also a pupil of m. Denis and e. Vouillard. Surrealist painter, he was influenced by the painting of giorgio de chirico and pablo picasso. Resident in the united states since 1937, he assumed its nationality in 1944. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
