Design Plus Gallery presents a “Heart of Chianti” three-panel landscape painting by Jennifer Vranes. This signed and dated March 2007 canvas triptych spans rolling hills, golden fields, cypress-lined roads, lavender-toned groves, and a foreground of red poppies moving through tall grasses. Vranes is an award-winning contemporary artist associated with San Francisco, known for large-scale aspen forest and European landscape paintings, expressive brushwork, vivid color, and a palette-knife technique that builds raised texture across the surface. The three canvases join to form a continuous panoramic view, with layered impasto adding depth and movement throughout the composition. They are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
