Perhaps the most iconic piece of 19th C. English porcelain ever produced.

White with gold leaf, black and yellow detailing.

This model's cast is more detailed than many, evidenced by the waves in the dogs coat , the chain and lock in the body, and the well-painted face.

Collectors suggest the quality of a Staffordshire dog is in the details the face. If so, this one is a winner, with still sharp eyes, whiskers, mouth and locket.
