This chair is structurally sound and retains its original solid wood frame. The cane back is in very good condition for its age, with no significant breaks or damage visible. The original upholstered seat is missing, and the seat base will require new padding and upholstery before regular use. The painted finish shows noticeable wear, scuffs, and age-related imperfections, and many buyers may choose to refinish the frame. Overall, this is an excellent restoration piece with strong bones and beautiful original craftsmanship.
