This striking example belongs to Vallien's celebrated Blue Series and is distinguished by its exceptional azure blue color, a far less common variation that beautifully showcases the depth and luminosity of Swedish art glass. The vessel is formed from a series of softly rounded, stacked rings culminating in an elegant finial, creating a sculptural silhouette that reflects Vallien's early exploration of organic forms.

While originally conceived as a decorative candy jar, the piece transcends its utilitarian purpose, functioning equally well as a sculptural object. Its rich color, balanced proportions, and tactile form make it a sophisticated addition to both mid-century and contemporary interiors.
