Beautiful and generous, this large "Safari" pendant light, designed by Peter Hvidt for Nordisk Solar, evokes the poetry of 1970s … Read more Beautiful and generous, this large "Safari" pendant light, designed by Peter Hvidt for Nordisk Solar, evokes the poetry of 1970s Scandinavian design. Its vast, matte white aluminum dome casts a soft and luminous presence. What makes this lamp truly captivating is what lies within: a subtle interplay of concentric white metal reflectors that elegantly filter and soften the light. A fine band of perforated mesh runs along the top of the dome, a small but functional signature so characteristic of the Nordic spirit of the era, where beauty and function are one. This ceiling light is a beautiful piece of vintage design, perfect above a table or in an entryway for warm light and a touch of character.

The lamp is vintage and dates from the 1970s. The exterior surface shows some minor signs of age, but the light fixture is in very good condition.
