Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown sapphire blue, inner bubbles and gold flecks Italian art glass tear / water drop shaped decorative bowl, vide poche. The piece is created in the manner of the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company and designer Archimede Seguso. The bowl is made in the "Bullicante" technique, with hundreds of evenly spaced controlled bubbles throughout. The bowl is also covered in gold leaf throughout, and glitters when it catches the light. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish, or as a ring / jewelry dish on your dresser. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures: 5 5/8” long x 5" wide x 2 1/2" high.
