The very top of the backrest terminates in a wide, heavily padded cylindrical T-bar roll designed for the person kneeling behind the chair to rest. The frame is covered in a soft, velour or velvet-like fabric in a neutral, muted olive tone. The front support consists of dark, ornately turned mahogany forelegs. Both front legs terminate in their original vintage brass castors. The rear legs are slightly swept outward to provide grounding stability.
