Vintage French Rococo Louis XV style wall or mantel mirror crafted with a carved mahogany frame featuring an ornate pierced cartouche, scrolling acanthus leaf cresting, and finely carved decorative molding. The richly detailed frame reflects the asymmetrical ornamentation and flowing forms associated with eighteenth century French Rococo design while offering a versatile scale for use above a mantel, console, dresser, or entry table.
The warm mahogany finish highlights the natural wood grain and carved architectural details, creating a statement piece well suited for traditional, French Country, Hollywood Regency, English Manor, and eclectic interiors.
