These custom antique lighting fixtures are Spanish Revival style wrought iron chandeliers, characterized by heavy forged metal construction, prominent scrollwork … Read more These custom antique lighting fixtures are Spanish Revival style wrought iron chandeliers, characterized by heavy forged metal construction, prominent scrollwork loops, and exposed candelabra-style bulbs. They have a traditional Mediterranean aesthetic and feature dark, hand-scrolled iron bands accented with subtle antiqued bronze finish over a charcoal toned natural base. Each of the three fixtures which are sold separately have 6 arms that span 24" across and hold a 2 pricket faux acrylic candle sleeved light each for a total of 12 lights. These circular shaped pendants have a long drop neck crown that resemble a water fountain that cascades into wide ribbon saddles that stream and support the looping arms that continue with the theme of curling and scrolling loops that splash at the bottom. Each candle pricket has a daisy like floral shaped babiche offering a fully developed flourish decoration, giving them a luxe vibe. These romantic, ceiling hung, hard-wired, lighting fixtures (circa 1920s) could be from Los Angeles as well as from Europe or elsewhere overseas, however, their exact origin is unknown by us. These traditional iron semi-gothic early-century fixtures were acquired through an estate sale at a hideaway ranch home in the high desert surrounding Joshua Tree National Park.
