An elegant antique Sheffield silverplate gallery tray dating to the mid 20th century, featuring beautifully engraved Rococo Revival decoration, pierced gallery sides, and integrated cutout handles.
The tray is richly embellished with scrolling acanthus foliage, floral motifs, and finely engraved cartouches surrounding a polished center. The openwork gallery and graceful serpentine outline make it equally suited for serving or as a decorative display piece on a coffee table, bar, vanity, or console.
Its generous size lends itself beautifully to entertaining or displaying candles, crystal decanters, perfumes, or treasured decorative objects.
The underside retains its Sheffield mark.
