Beautiful gilded mirror with console, entirely in the classic Rococo style; France, circa mid-20th century.
A lovely ensemble, luxuriously decorated with acanthus leaves and flowers; both the mirror and console are of high quality and crafted from resin. The mirror is gilded with gold leaf; a "doré à la feuille" (gold leaf gilt) label is affixed to the back.
In perfect vintage condition consistent with age, featuring a beautiful aged patina on the gold leaf. The color match between the console and the mirror is not quite exact. There are no breaks, chips, or missing parts; the console shows some superficial scratches—please check the photos for details.
