A Proper Purple Pair!
Charming and imminently useful pair mod 6" ceramic candlestick / vases in an hourglass shape.
Signed Wardle 1920 on the bottom.
4" diameter at base and top.
Purple color is charming - varied and showing hints and and edge of antique white throughout. Shows wonderful artisan authenticity.
One tiny firing spot on the edge of one - otherwise bright and as new.
In keeping with Aesop's fable, Fox and Crow's Motto is "Beware of False Flattery!" So, with each listing we offer a true confession about the item...
We are just back from a wonderful trip to Ireland - our third as a couple - and of course we brought home some treasures from our journey.
These are just charming - the shape, the size, the color (which goes with everything!)...and you are not likely to ever see another pair!
