A Charming Old World Ceramic Tile!
A single 6" square tile, marked England on the reverse with a crown and hound seal.
Incredible arts and crafts style image, featuring old gold, Atlantic blue and white on a wonderful Tiffany / turquoise blue. Crackle style glaze. Design is evocative of a letter with floral motifs.
Bright and carefully detailed, showing patina of being preserved from a very fine historic building.

We are just back from a wonderful trip to Ireland - our third as a couple - and of course we brought home some treasures from our journey.
This is one of those treasures!
Pure and simple, this is an image that - when we saw it - we said "don't know how we'll deploy that, but it's beautiful and memorable for sure."
