This is a set of 4 vintage MCM dining chairs by Russel Wright for Conant Ball.
The chairs are made of solid birch wood in a modernized windsor style with a spindle back, plank seat, and splayed and tapered round legs in the atomic style. Legs united in a box stretcher for added stability. Wedged mortise and tenon joints secure the back stiles to the seat and top rail. Signed Conant Ball, and numbered #7410.
The 1950s era dining chairs are in very good vintage condition. The chairs are sturdy and solid. One chair had a broken stretcher that was professionally repaired. Scattered scratches and wear on the wood finish, but the chairs show very well. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the chairs.
Each chair measures 33.5” tall, 19” wide, and 19” deep with a 17” seat height.
