Substantial antique architectural chimney pot crafted of reddish unglazed terracotta. The tall, tapered square body is ornamented with recessed Gothic-arch panels, projecting molded bands, and a dramatic crenellated crown resembling a medieval castle turret.
Originally made as a functional chimney pot, it now works beautifully as a sculptural garden ornament, pedestal, or large planter. The naturally weathered surface has developed attractive mossy green deposits, mineral staining, and a soft timeworn patina. Similar antique chimney pots are now widely repurposed as distinctive garden planters and architectural features.
