Elegant hand-thrown stoneware bowl with characteristic brown hare’s fur glaze and a finely defined white rim. The softly organic, balanced form exemplifies Friberg’s mastery of proportion and subtle surface expression. Signed ‘Friberg’ with the Gustavsberg "Studio hand" mark beneath. Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was one of Sweden’s most celebrated ceramic masters, working for Gustavsberg Studio from 1934.
