Beautifully hand-modeled with stylized facial features and traditional attire, each sculpture exhibits the rich texture and character associated with handcrafted terracotta. Their naturally aged surface has developed a handsome patina over more than a century, adding to their authenticity and decorative appeal.

Although unsigned, the pair appears to be Indian in inspiration and is believed to date to the late 19th century, circa 1890s. A rare and decorative antique set with timeless character.
