The dresser is made out of walnut ,with lots of marquetry in an exotic wood that I believe is Zebra wood. There is also some nice carving at the bottom of the base on the dresser. Each drawer has some nice dovetail construction, and is lined with mahogany. The drawers are super deep making ideal to story even sweaters. All the hardware is original to the period. The hardware is bakelite in a nice deep orange color tone, and in amazing condition. There are tons of drawers and even a compartment with a little door so that one can organize everything nicely. They just don't make furniture like the used to, comes to mind. See less

For example, I noticed that it used to have caster wheel, but they are no longer there, most people now days don't like dressers with wheels, so if you would like us to add wheel just let me know in a message. All drawers open smoothly and we have completely clean and disinfected the inside. We also orange beeswax to moisturize all the wood. less
