The chest has a rectangular case, hinged plank top, brass-tone butterfly hinges, side carrying handles, and a large circular front lock plate. The interior opens to a tiered compartment with multiple small drawers over a deep lower well. Paneled drawer fronts, ring pulls, and visible wood grain give the piece an aged, collected character. The exterior shows surface scratches, scuffs, patina to the hardware, and age-related variation throughout. and overall is in good condition. See less
