This beautifully proportioned piece features three spacious drawers adorned with ornate circular brass ring pulls and decorative brass keyhole escutcheons, showcasing the refined simplicity and craftsmanship characteristic of the Biedermeier period. Condition:
Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The chest is structurally sound, and all three drawers open and close smoothly. Veneers remain in very good overall condition, displaying a rich patina. There is an old veneer loss/repair to the front right corner between the upper drawers, along with scattered surface scratches, small edge nicks, and minor finish wear on the top consistent with over 100 years of use.
