This painting features a scene in what looks to be a Grotto with a drunk Bacchus figure with two figures and a cherub. The painting is well executed, probably Central European or Possibly French school with a plaque on the frame attributing it to Petr Brandl (Czech 1668-1735). The back of the framing has an old dealer price tag of 4000.

Condition: Good general condition for an old master. Old repairs to the canvas, the canvas appears to also have been professionally re-lined and cleaned.
