An atmospheric mid-century landscape that depicts a tranquil setting centred around a narrow stream and a cluster of trees rising from soft green embankments, executed in oil onto canvas and dated 1959.

The composition carries a quiet, reflective mood, with the delicate branches dissolving into a hazy landscape beyond. Surrounding the upper branches is a luminous veil of light cream paint that softly suggests foliage or leaves emerging through mist, lending the scene a gentle seasonal transition and an almost dreamlike glow.

Executed in a loose modernist style, the painting balances abstraction with landscape observation.
