This expressive sculpture features crisp hand-carved facial details, a flowing beard, and an ornate Renaissance-style ruff collar, all resting on its original contrasting plinth base.

The underside retains the original OURO Artesanía – Made in Spain label with Model No. 569, confirming its Spanish origin. Pieces from this workshop became popular during the 1950s–1970s for their skilled craftsmanship and celebration of Spain’s artistic and literary heritage.
